The Macedonian question was only a ploy for securing political points ahead of the election and not a real problem of the citizens of Bulgaria.
As always, internal political interests have priority over good neighborly relations.

Sonja Stojadinović is a political scientist with both a bachelor’s and master’s degree from the Saints Cyril and Methodius University’s Political Sciences Faculty in Skopje (International Politics Department).
